STAFF:
Richard from Sydney Sound Support and Sydney Sound Cables spends majority of his awake life working on live productions. His fundamental roles over the last 15 years as Sound Mixer, Audio Supervisor and House Technician, provide a service and knowledge base that is available to you, to provide you with a reliable experience for your clientele. Richard has worked with many, both international and local artists, in live performance environments, both stage and broadcast.
Richard has many years experience balancing music for live events and broadcasts. His expertise runs from audio show design and setup, through sound check and to mixing musically pleasing and technically proficient program and sound re-enforcement.. Richard’s background is from “analogue” technology and fundamental techniques are carried forward to the “digital” era. Skills include operating all analogue consoles and outboard gear both musically and technically. Skills include many hours mixing on current digital systems including: Digidesign Profile and SC48, Digico D series and SD series, Yamaha PM5D, M7, LS9 and Soundcraft Vi1. As well as “operating sound” Richard is also employed for systems management and has also worked in stage management, lighting operating and systems along with other production duties varying from small stage too festival stage. The live music and performance environment along with live TV broadcast is Richard’s “second home”. Available for Front Of House mixing, Monitor mixing, Broadcast Audio Directing, Audio Systems, setup and installation.
